I live in Brisbane, Australia. Photography has been my interest for decades (yes, I am that old!). I am self taught and love the opportunity to make images, often just in the moment - places, people and landscapes. It is a privilege to travel across many parts of the world and I particularly enjoy doing this on foot or by bicycle whenever possible.

My other life is as a specialist physician, dealing with those facing a life ending illness. While I engage deeply with my patients and their families, photography grants me the opportunity to occupy a calm, still healing place where I am just present in the moment (urk! does that sound a bit too zen?).

While I have used a variety of camera systems, my camera of the moment is Fujifilm medium format (GFX 100s II).
